1. About Us

SALA OR is an inclusive cultural association and a live music and performing arts venue located in Gràcia, Barcelona. We serve as a gathering point for art lovers and creators, offering a welcoming environment for artistic expression and cultural exchange.
As a cultural association, our activities are carried out in accordance with our registered statutes and applicable legislation in Catalonia.

2. Membership

• Certain activities, events, and services may be reserved for association members.

• Membership is open to individuals and groups who share our values and mission.

• Members are required to respect the association’s statutes, internal regulations, and code of conduct.

3. Activities & Services

We host and support a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:

• Live Performances: Jam sessions and concerts (jazz, blues, swing, funk, hip hop, singer-songwriter, world music, electronic fusion).

• Performing Arts: Theatre, performance art, spoken word, multidisciplinary shows.

• Art & Culture: Art exhibitions, visual installations, dance, yoga, wellness, creativity workshops.

• Venue Use: Cultural events, festivals, public talks, artist meetups, photo and film shoots.

Technical equipment, event planning, and an on-site bar may be included with certain bookings.

4. Artist Proposals & Collaboration

We welcome proposals from local and international artists, cultural groups, and institutions. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to select projects based on artistic quality, technical feasibility, and alignment with our mission and statutes.

5. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation.

• Fees, deposits, and payment terms will be agreed in advance for each event.

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing. Fees may apply depending on the timing of cancellation.

6. Use of the Space

• Users are expected to respect the facilities, staff, members, and other guests.

• Any damage caused to property or equipment may be charged to the responsible party.

• All events must comply with local laws, including noise regulations, safety requirements, and association policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Artists and participants retain all rights to their original works. By performing or exhibiting at OUR SPACE, you grant us the non-exclusive right to use photographs, video, or audio recordings from the event for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Data Collection & Privacy

Our website contains forms to collect information from artists, members, and interested parties. By submitting your data, you agree that:

• We will use your information solely for purposes related to evaluating proposals, managing bookings, processing memberships, and communicating relevant updates.

• Your data will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

9. Liability

SALA OR is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during events, except in cases of proven negligence.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain and the applicable legislation for cultural associations in Catalonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Barcelona.
